“MY BEATING HEART BEATS FOR YOU is a pure love song that’s inspired by the rhythm of the heart. I felt it. I was listening to my own heart when I felt the tempo and I wanted to write a song about it. It’s the first rhythm we ever hear. We hear the rhythm of our mother’s heart when we’re in the womb and that rhythm carries us through life. I think the heartbeat is such an important rhythm, that I really wanted to dedicate a song to that and to make it a love song because the human heart is a symbol and a source of love from the universe to the material world." – Chris Birkett
